To believe is to disagree in all other measures.

“Why don’t you try the simpler way?”
“No, okay, that can’t be it. You have to believe me, this will work.”
“You’re delusional.”
“No, I’m not! It sounds crazy, but it’ll work, trust me.”

To believe is to blindly try.

“Why are you doing this? It will never work.”
“Just you watch. Okay, see, let me example it now…”
“Ha! It didn’t work.”
“What happened? How did it…?”
“I’m telling you, give up now.”

To believe is to attempt again against all odds.

“Hey! Wait, I got it working again!”
“Oh really?”
“Yes, come and see!”
“Um, no.”
“What? Why not?”
“I don’t believe you. You attempt at a crazy idea, watch it fail, and then decide to try again? Nothing will change, you’re just wasting your time.”

To believe is to stand alone….

“Hmph! Well, if nobody believes I can do it, I’ll just have to prove them wrong. By myself, if I must!”

“Um, sir? I heard you were looking for an assistant.”
“Go away, boy. You must think I’m crazy to attempt this, just like everybody else.”

“Well then, it looks like you proved me wrong, Thomas. Who knew you could capture light in a glass bulb?”
“Aren’t you happy now that I didn’t result to the ‘simpler way’ of lighting a candle?”
“Yes, I am.”

“Dr. Edison, sir, the next group of people are here to see the magical effects of the ‘light bulb’.”
“Well, then, Assistant, let’s give them a show!”
